Times they are a Changin’

If your time to you

Is worth savin’

Then you better start swimmin’

Or you’ll sink like a stone

For times they are a-changin.

Bob Dylan’s lyrics in *Times they are a-changin’*are quite poignant in our market: for you, as well as for us! We have been very busy behind the scenes over the last few months surveying the load balancer market from many different perspectives. Our commitment to our customers remains a top priority and the feedback we have received determines how we go forward.

Our market survey makes for some interesting reading:

  • General resistance to artificial bandwidth or feature restrictions
  • Growing trend towards cloud and virtual deployments
  • Dedicated hardware still wanted to guarantee performance
  • Desire to future-proof any load balancer hardware with 10GbE
  • Dependability & confidence in the load balancer brand
  • Preference for direct manufacturer support

We have been addressing these points and you may have noticed some slight changes already. First we announced we were making it easier to future proof your network by significantly lowering the entry price to higher performance load balancing.

Over the coming months you will see some other changes too, as we respond to the market, and these include communicating to the wider world with market commentary, hints and tips via various channels: direct newsletters, LinkedIn, Google+ and our new official Twitter feed. It’s not all about business as we hope to introduce some fun stuff to from the lighter side of the industry to competitions.

Just remember, whilst other companies force feed customers with over specified and over priced equipment, we at Loadbalancer.org will only supply the right solution for you, at an extremely competitive price and with the industry’s leading 24/7 support, wherever you are.

And as Bob wrote in Times they are a-changin’

The slow one now

Will later be fast

As the present now

Will later be past

All of us here at Loadbalancer.org hope we are responding to your needs today and preparing for the future. You will find our direct company structure enables us to quickly change with the times, so if you think there is anything we can improve then please let us know.
