High availability (HA)
What do we mean by high availability?
High availability (HA) is a resilient system that avoids introducing a single point of failure to your network. Loadbalancer.org always recommends that clustered pairs of load balancers should be used where possible to provide high availability.
It allows an application to automatically restart or reroute work to another capable system in the event of a failure. It doesn’t, therefore, stop failures from happening – but it does make sure that things keep going, even when they do.
