What do you need load balancing for?

"Would definitely recommend Loadbalancer.org products and services. Their load balancer physical and virtual appliances are well put together, cost-effective, and would recommend them to anyone looking for an easy-to-configure yet capable load balancer to add to their infrastructure. The level of after-sales support they provide is also top notch. They are always quick to respond, polite, and resolve any queries with a minimum of fuss. These guys are a great example of how to run a support team, and I've had to deal with quite a few over the years!"

Load Balancing Novarad NovaPACS

Loadbalancer.org facilitates the deployment of NovaPACS servers in a cluster, ensuring zero downtime and greatest resource efficiency. This provides a cost-effective, highly available, and scalable NovaPACS solution for environments where study volume is ever increasing.

By clustering servers behind a load balancer product managers can guarantee zero downtime and greatest resource efficiency. This provides a cost-effective, highly available, and scalable NovaPACS solution.

Deployment Mode

A typical deployment combines fast, highly available storage with unrestricted retrieval of images using our ultra-fast Layer 4 Direct Routing DR Mode, sometimes referred to as Direct Server Return (DSR). This is a very high-performance solution that requires little change to your existing infrastructure. It is also possible to load balance a NovaPACS server deployment using Layer 7 SNAT Mode. This mode might be preferable if making changes to the real servers is not possible. Due to the increased amount of information at layer 7, performance is not as fast as at layer 4.

By utilizing Layer 4 DR our entry level, Enterprise R20, is capable of environments of up to 500k studies/year. For anything larger than this then our Enterprise 10G offers an infinitely scalable solution at an unbelievably reasonable price-point.
